It was an extraordinary journey
An awe-inspiring adventure
Back from the aqueous darkness
A realm soaked in splendor

A warm water kiss goodbye
Rising up to regain my senses
Exiting the abyss now, I must
This life again forthwith commences

Drops of water rain from my skin
Wetting the floor beneath my feet
Each a recollection of recent hours
Time and cognition now into a sea

From the void I brought back euphoria
Saturating my mind with jubilation
Traveling throughout my own soul
Finding wonder through the flotation
