Standing on top of Baby Bell, looking back at Bell Rock. One of the most beautiful sites in all of Sedona, in my opinion. This is #3 of a five piece series that I’m doing of famous Sedona rock formations.
The hike and climb atop Baby Bell isn’t difficult. It’s one of the best ways to view Bell Rock and take in the entire experience of ‘Bell Rock’. I’ve done my best to capture its beauty. This piece was done in a pointillism-type style with dabs of paint applied side by side upon the entire canvas. It’s a very time consuming process, but I love the look once it’s finished. The painting is mounted inside a beautiful dark brown/cherry frame that really makes the painting stand out. The contrast between the frame and painting makes the painting appear as if it’s backlit.
