A New Day
I recall the hour—
it ever so apparent.
Eluding my mind—
until this day in the present.
A existence so trying as never before…
In the rain falling—
yes, the gentle rain falling.
It was then, only there—
when I recognized the calling.
A time present and me asking for more…
A new day, it was—
now I had found one.
My yearning for thee—
and the wait I had done.
I’m here and now one to look for!
